Jaclyn Lensen
Jaclyn is passionate about her work in strategic communications because it influences outcomes. From her point of view, effective communication skills are crucial to maintaining and building relationships, whether at home, on the job or in the community.
Over the past 15 years, Jaclyn has worked in many areas of communications, from publicity to media relations to corporate communications. At the Foundation since 2011, Jaclyn has worked with staff in various departments and with partners across the state to lead communication efforts that highlight and discuss important issues that the Foundation and our partners are striving to address. She works to articulate our organization’s identity through the use of voice, tone, messaging and design.
Jaclyn enjoys traveling and has ventured to South Africa, Hong Kong, Mexico, France, Italy, Amsterdam and the UK. In the U.S., she spends time with family and enjoys traveling across the Colorado, from the Western Slope to the Eastern Plains.
On the weekends, she bikes, volunteers and gardens; is actively involved with her neighborhood association; and enjoys chilling with friends while sipping a glass of wine — although not in that particular order. Life is also good when Jaclyn is strolling around Sloan’s Lake with her bulldog, Moneypenny.
